Avoid primer style. Primer style is short. Primer style is boring. Primer style is tedious. Primer style is choppy. So avoid it.
Avoid using primer style writing by joining sentences and refraining from the use of to-be verbs. Nobody wants to look like they are a second grader in their writing, and no one really creates a whole essay that way, but some of my own paragraphs may use this primer style to trudge through facts and details that could otherwise stand illustrious. I totally understand what you mean. That being not wanting to write like a second grader. I do find that in some of my sentences they do show primer style.
